Hop ("the app", "we") is a focus app that helps you take one small step at a time. We designed Hop to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what data leaves your device, where it goes, and your rights over it.
Hop has no sign-up, login, name, email, or password. On first launch the app generates a random anonymous device identifier (a UUID) stored securely on your device. This identifier is the only thing that links your subscription and your monthly usage quota to your device. It is not tied to your real-world identity.
Your tasks, the steps they are broken into, your progress counter, your settings, and your preferences are stored only on your device. We do not upload, back up, or have any access to this content.
If you use the optional "Smart Split" feature, the text you choose to split is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service (Supabase Edge Function), which forwards it to Google's Gemini AI model to break it into small steps. We send the text (truncated to at most 4,000 characters), your language preference, and your anonymous device identifier (to count quota). The returned steps are shown to you and stored only on your device. We do not store the text you sent or the AI's response on our servers after the request completes.
Smart Split is opt-in: the first time, the app asks for your explicit consent, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. With it off, splitting happens on-device using a template and no text leaves your device. Google processes the text as a sub-processor; see Google's AI terms and Google's Privacy Policy.
On-device AI (iPhone with Apple Intelligence, iOS 26 or later). On supported iPhones, Hop can split your text with Apple's on-device model instead. In that case the text is processed entirely on your phone: nothing is sent to us or to Google, no consent is needed, and it does not count against your quota. On the free plan the on-device model is tried first and Google is only used if you have turned Smart Split on and the on-device split cannot run; with Hop+ the cloud model is tried first and the on-device model is used when you are offline. The preview tells you which one did the work.
To manage Hop+ and your free monthly Smart Split quota, we store a minimal record on our backend (Supabase), keyed to your anonymous device identifier:
This record contains no personal information and no task content.
In-app purchases of Hop+ are processed by the store you installed Hop from — Apple's App Store on iOS or Google Play (Google Play Billing) on Android — and managed through RevenueCat, which we use to verify subscription status. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card or billing information. RevenueCat receives your anonymous device identifier and purchase events. If you use voice input, your device's microphone is used to transcribe what you say into text via the operating system's speech-recognition service. The app prefers on-device recognition where available; depending on your device and OS settings, Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) may process audio to provide transcription per Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy. The resulting text is treated like any other text you type.
If you use Hop's Siri phrases or Shortcuts, Apple processes your voice to understand the request under Apple's Privacy Policy; Hop only receives the resulting command or text. "What's my next step" is answered from a snapshot stored on your phone, and a brain dump handed to Hop this way is split the next time the app runs, exactly like text you type. The Apple Watch app exchanges data only with your paired iPhone. None of this is sent to us.
Hop is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
You can delete everything at any time: Settings → Delete my data. This permanently erases your local data and deletes your server-side records (subscription link and quota) from our backend. The action is irreversible. Note that an active store subscription is managed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you can no longer open the app, see how to delete your data.
Under the GDPR (EU) and the KVKK (Türkiye, Law No. 6698) you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Because we hold no personal identifiers beyond an anonymous device ID, the in-app deletion fulfils these rights for the data we hold. For any request, contact hopapp.destek@gmail.com.
All transfers use encrypted HTTPS connections. Server records persist only while needed for your subscription and quota, and are removed when you delete your data. Smart Split request content is not retained on our servers after processing.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected in the app.

Hop ("uygulama", "biz"), her seferinde tek küçük adım atmana yardımcı olan bir odak uygulamasıdır. Hop'u mümkün olan en az veriyi toplayacak şekilde tasarladık. Bu politika, cihazından hangi verinin çıktığını, nereye gittiğini ve haklarını net olarak açıklar.
Hop'ta kayıt, giriş, ad, e-posta veya şifre yoktur. İlk açılışta uygulama, cihazında güvenli biçimde saklanan rastgele ve anonim bir cihaz kimliği (UUID) üretir. Bu kimlik, yalnızca aboneliğini ve aylık kullanım kotanı cihazına bağlayan tek şeydir; gerçek kimliğinle ilişkili değildir.
Görevlerin, bölündükleri adımlar, ilerleme sayacın, ayarların ve tercihlerin yalnızca cihazında saklanır. Bu içeriği yüklemeyiz, yedeklemeyiz ve bu içeriğe hiçbir erişimimiz yoktur.
İsteğe bağlı "Akıllı Bölme" özelliğini kullanırsan, bölmeyi seçtiğin metin şifreli bir bağlantıyla işleme servisimize (Supabase Edge Function) gönderilir; o da metni küçük adımlara ayırması için Google'ın Gemini yapay zekâ modeline iletir. Metni (en fazla 4.000 karaktere kısaltılarak), dil tercihini ve kota saymak için anonim cihaz kimliğini göndeririz. Dönen adımlar sana gösterilir ve yalnızca cihazında saklanır. Akıllı Bölme onay gerektirir: ilk seferde uygulama açık onayını ister ve istediğin an Ayarlar'dan kapatabilirsin. Kapalıyken bölme, cihazında bir şablonla yapılır ve hiçbir metin cihazından çıkmaz. Google, metni bir alt-işleyici olarak işler; Google AI koşulları ve Google Gizlilik Politikası.
Cihaz-içi yapay zekâ (Apple Intelligence destekli iPhone, iOS 26 ve üzeri). Destekleyen iPhone'larda Hop, metnini Apple'ın cihaz-içi modeliyle de bölebilir. Bu durumda metin tümüyle telefonunda işlenir: bize ya da Google'a hiçbir şey gönderilmez, onay gerekmez ve kotandan düşmez. Ücretsiz planda önce cihaz-içi model denenir; Google'a yalnızca Akıllı Bölme'yi açtıysan ve cihaz-içi bölme çalışamıyorsa gidilir. Hop+'ta önce bulut modeli denenir, çevrimdışıyken cihaz-içi model kullanılır. Hangisinin çalıştığını önizleme söyler.

Ortaya çıkan metin, yazdığın diğer metinler gibi ele alınır.
Hop'un Siri ifadelerini ya da Kısayollar'ı kullanırsan, isteğini anlamak için sesini Apple, kendi Gizlilik Politikası uyarınca işler; Hop yalnızca ortaya çıkan komutu ya da metni alır. "Sıradaki adım ne" sorusu telefonunda tutulan bir anlık görüntüden yanıtlanır; bu yolla bırakılan bir beyin dökümü, yazdığın metinle aynı şekilde uygulama bir sonraki çalışışında bölünür. Apple Watch uygulaması yalnızca eşli iPhone'unla veri alışverişi yapar. Bunların hiçbiri bize gönderilmez.
Hop genel kitleye yöneliktir ve 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir. Çocuklardan bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız.
Her şeyi dilediğin an silebilirsin: Ayarlar → Verilerimi sil. Bu işlem yerel verini kalıcı olarak siler ve sunucu kayıtlarını (abonelik bağı ve kota) arka uçtan kaldırır. İşlem geri alınamaz. Aktif bir mağaza aboneliğinin Apple ya da Google tarafından yönetildiğini ve App Store ya da Google Play hesap ayarlarından iptal edilmesi gerektiğini unutma. Uygulamayı artık açamıyorsan verini nasıl sileceğine bak.
GDPR (AB) ve KVKK (Türkiye, 6698 sayılı Kanun) kapsamında erişim, düzeltme, silme ve itiraz haklarına sahipsin. Anonim cihaz kimliği dışında kişisel tanımlayıcı tutmadığımız için, uygulama içi silme bu hakları elimizdeki veri için karşılar. Her tür talep için: hopapp.destek@gmail.com.
Tüm aktarımlar şifreli HTTPS bağlantılarıyla yapılır. Sunucu kayıtları yalnız aboneliğin ve kotan için gerektiği sürece tutulur ve verini sildiğinde kaldırılır. Akıllı Bölme istek içeriği işlendikten sonra sunucularımızda tutulmaz.
Bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz; "Son güncelleme" tarihi buna göre değişir. Önemli değişiklikler uygulamaya yansıtılır.
